As emotionally challenging as it was to buy a home in a very competitive market in 2012, I honestly didn't realize it would be just as intense an experience to sell the home where we raised our child. I'm so grateful that we had this very trusted team to shepherd us through the process of picking the best new owners, as well as coming up with a great plan for a solid price that we can feel good about. For us, this was more than just a monetary transaction and we felt totally safe and looked after. Best praise I can give is that we didn't even consider any other agent and are repeat clients.

When it came time to sell my father-in-law's house. She handled everything with care and compassion during this tough transition, especially considering that we were selling the house from out-of-state! Elizabeth managed to clear out the house and freshen it up to bring on the market in tip top form, and then managed to have it sold in record time! We were in excellent hands with Agent Layne Realty.

Their years of experience showed many times during our buying/selling processes - as well as knowing things that possibly other realtors wouldn't - that turned out to be boons for us. On top of all of that, they make you feel like you're their only client. Buying or selling a house is an exciting and anxious time - and there's no one you want representing you and helping you toward that goal more than them. They're patient and want what you want. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
As a first time homebuyer, a single lady
and trying to close during a pandemic, I had the amazing fortune to have Elizabeth and Brian supporting me through the wild ride. They were both very attentive, communicative, and with my lack of knowledge of how the whole process worked, incredibly patient and always willing to explain the details so I could be better educated about my purchase.
Even after the close of escrow, it was discovered that a few things had been missed that the seller was supposed to have replaced and taken care of. They stayed on top of it and got those things replaced right away with no charge to me, taking responsibility for the miss. That's an act of professionalism and integrity you don't get very often these days.

She is very personable, was responsive, and made me feel like we were a priority for her. I appreciated that she advocated for us and helped convince the seller to go with us instead of another buyer and also that she convinced the seller to, as a sign of goodwill, pay us for a repair they had every right to decline. She also went out of her way to get me a quote for central AC from a contractor, which was unprompted and very much appreciated. It's mindblowing to consider that we first started working with Liz early last month. Now, about 7 and half short weeks later, we find ourselves owners of a property we love!
